The SkillGravity team has had crazy few weeks!

We got accepted into the Bay Area National Science Foundation (NSF) Innovation Corps accelerator program sponsored by University of California Berkeley, Stanford and University of California San Francisco (UCSF) and we are beyond excited to learn more about how to effectively run a successful startup and bring more value to our customers. 20 other talented and ambitious companies across various industries have undertaken the path to commercializing their technologies and making the world a better place.

The SkillGravity team has had an eventful weekend!

On Sunday, June 22nd we attended Just Pitch It!, an initiative sponsored by EFactor, a social network dedicated specifically to helping entrepreneurs with the needed tools, marketing and mentorship needed to create a successful company . The event was hosted in San Francisco, CA and featured over ten investors from China who are members of YAILA (Young Angel Investor Leader’s Association).

People… People everywhere… Yes, like it or not, we are all surrounded by people we have to communicate with- from the nanny, to the Safeway clerk, to the big shot Account Executive who has no idea who you are and you have to impress them in order to get that so desired promotion. How would you be sure, however, that that same Account Executive knows you and recognizes your existence? How many times have YOU been in a situation where you are 100% sure you will never forget someone you just met, put their business card in your pocket for it never to be thought of again?
